Aura Globe Pro : Quick Guide
An animated 3D globe with flight paths, city pins, data markers, and a cursor-reactive magnetic effect. Fully self-contained — no external map service needed.
Getting Started :
Drop it on your canvas. It works immediately with sensible defaults. Drag to rotate, hover to see the magnetic cursor effect. Everything below is optional tuning.
Globe & Dots :
Background : page background color
Render Mode : Dots, Wireframe, or Hybrid
Dot Count : density of the sphere
Min/Max Size : dot size range by depth
Dots Area : Both, Ocean Only, or Land Only
Dot Motion : idle wobble style (Static/Noise/Fluid/Pulse)
Back Face Visible : show dots on the far side
Pole/Equator Color : gradient by latitude
Rim Lighting : horizon-edge highlight
Dot Breathing : synced pulsing size
Constellations : connect nearby dots with faint lines
Landmass & Map :
Show Landmass : on/off
Dotted Land : stippled dots instead of solid fill
Land Fill + Dots : layer both together
Dot Density/Size/Colors : land stipple styling
Magnetic : land dots react to cursor too
Pulse : land dots pulse independently
Land Fill/Edge : solid continent color and outline
Depth Gradient, Dot Opacity, Mag Land, and Mag Land Glow don't currently do anything — safe to ignore.
Magnetic Cursor & Aura :
Magnetic Cursor : dots react to your pointer
Mode : Attract, Repel, Orbit, or Vortex
Field Radius/Strength : reach and force
Falloff : force curve shape
Size Boost/Brightness : displaced dots grow and glow
Cursor Aura : decorative ring at your cursor (separate from the physics)
Aura Mode : Surface 3D or Screen Flat
Shockwave Click : expanding ring on click
Aurora Borealis :
Enable Aurora : on/off
Color 1/2/3 : blended aurora colors
Full Globe Coverage : whole sphere vs. poles only
Mouse Reactive : aurora shifts toward cursor
Flight Arcs :
Show Arcs : curved paths between cities
Arc Count/Height/Speed : path styling
Active Cities : which cities connect
Shooting Stars :
Shooting Stars : spawn-and-fade streaks between cities
From/To Cities : origin and destination pools
Random Routes : random or sequential pairing
Cities & Pins :
Show Hotspots : pulsing rings on active cities
Comment Pins : labeled info-cards (up to 20), with sublabel and color
Auto-show Pins : tooltip appears automatically when facing camera
Popup Transition : Spring, Fade, Slide, or Instant
Data Spikes & Spots :
Data Spikes : vertical bars from a city, own height/color/label
Spotlight Rings : expanding ring markers, separate from Pins/Hotspots
Wireframe & Grid :
Only shows up when Render Mode is Wireframe or Hybrid.
Lat/Lng Lines : grid density
Highlight Equator : distinct equator line
Scan Line : animated sweeping line
Animation & System :
Rotate Speed : idle spin speed
Initial Tilt : starting angle
Drag Damping : how long momentum lasts
Enable Drag : allow manual rotation
Hover Slows : slows down when cursor is over it
Max Pixel Ratio : sharpness vs. performance on Retina screens
